A Felter's Touch — Gallery of Felt Art
The gallery will feature the work of the Scottish Feltmakers and is also open to all other artists who would like to showcase their artwork.
If you would like to display and optionally sell your art, please submit it to the event registration table no later than 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 24. Please be assured that the gallery will be monitored at all times during display hours.
Artwork that is for sale will be subject to a 20% MFS commission fee, which will be withheld from the proceeds should the item sell.

Meals
Class registrants get lunch and dinner as part of their registration fee.
If you are simply visiting and would like to participate in a meal, you are welcome to do so, but you must let us know 48 hours in advance so that we can adequately plan for your participation. The cost per meal is $25.
Evenings with the Felters
Tuesday, July 22nd — "Felting Tales"
Location: Clarion Suites, in the Superior Room
Time: 6 - 8 PM
Come meet and greet your fellow felters the evening before the Symposium officially starts.
A perfect chance to showcase and promote your artwork.
Hor d'ouvres will be provided.
Wednesday, July 23rd — "Scottish Felters Abroad"
Location: Clarion Suites, in the Superior Room
Time: 7 - 10 PM
Ewa Kuniczak, a member and representative of the
Scottish Feltmakers, will
present a slideshow about the organization.
Afterward, Susan McFarland will present a demonstration on making dreadlocks.
Thursday, July 24th
Location: Alliant Energy Center expo center balcony
Time: 7 - 10 PM
Don Evans designs and manufactures needle felting tools, adpaters,
and wet felting machines. He will talk about his felting equipment.
Friday, July 25th
Location: Clarion Suites, in the Michigan Room
Time: 7 - 10 PM
Carol Cypher on "Hand Felted Jewelry and Beads"
Saturday, July 26th — "Christmas in July"
Location: Clarion Suites, in the Michigan Room
Time: 7 - 10 PM
Pat Spark will talk about Christmas ornaments project she started on the felters list.
Anne Vickrey Evans will make a sun-faced ornament.
